Chocolate muffins recipe

Chocolate Muffins







Ingredients:

1 and 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
1 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/4 teaspoon salt
2 large eggs
1 cup milk
1/2 cup vegetable oil
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
1 cup chocolate chips (optional)




Instructions:

step 1 Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a muffin tin with paper liners or grease the muffin cups lightly with oil or butter.

step 2 In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, baking soda, and salt until well combined.

step 3 In another bowl, lightly beat the eggs. Add the milk, vegetable oil, and vanilla extract, and whisk until well combined.

step 4 Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; a few lumps are okay.
If using chocolate chips, fold them into the batter until evenly distributed.
Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cup about 2/3 full.

step 5 Bake in the preheated oven for 18-20 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.

step 6 Remove the muffins from the oven and let them cool in the tin for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
Once cooled, 


serve and enjoy your delicious homemade chocolate muffins! You can store any leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for a few days.
